The slightly ovoid body painted with a continuous Chinese landscape depicting on one side a man holding a bowl and seated beneath a pine tree near another holding a fan and walking beneath a parasol borne by his attendant, two men in a small boat in the distance, and on the reverse a youth conversing with a man holding a large fan, the flaring cylindrical neck with a floral and foliate-scroll border beneath a man holding a fan and looking toward another walking with a pike over his shoulder beneath two distant boats, the scroll handle with a meandering foliate border and pierced at the top for a metal cover fitting, and the flaring foot with a stiff-leaf and icicle border.
