Each marked PAK, the ovoid vase No6 224 422 and the other vases No6 113 311 in iron-red for Pieter Adriaensz. Kocx, the owner of De Grieksche A (The Greek A) factory from 1701 to 1703, or his widow Johanna van der Heul from 1703 until 1722

Comprising a pair of beaker vases, a pair of bottle-shaped vases and an ovoid vase, each of octagonal form, and painted in the Japanese Kakiemon color palette of blue, green, iron-red, manganese, salmon and gold with alternating panels of flowering branches and oral trellis work patterns.

Heights: 19.2 to 26 cm. (7.6 to 10.2 in.)

Provenance: The Jules Desurmont Collection, with the collector’s labels numbered 71 / 1911
