Polychrome Armorial Plate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Note<\/strong><br \/>\nThe arms and crest are those of the Deckkers family, which was alternatively written as Deckers, Decker or Dekker. Typical of armorial wares, this plate was probably commissioned by a family member to commemorate a special event, for example a marriage.
