Painted in the center with two Chinese men conversing and walking towards a Chinese dignitary, his attendant standing behind him holding an umbrella and a fan in a fenced garden near rocks, bamboo and other plants, and a pavilion in the background, the rim with three men seated and conversing amidst shrubbery, two people conversing in front of a garden fence, a figure wearing a warrior costume standing before a garden fence and rock work, and two men seated and conversing amidst shrubbery and rock work.
