Marked IW 4 for Jacob Wemmersz. Hoppesteyn, who was the full owner of Het Moriaanshooft (The Moor’s Head) factory from 1664 until 1671, succeeded by his widow Jannetge Claesdr. van Straten through 1686

The hexagonal-shaped body painted in blue with black outlines with different oriental flowering plants and a songbird within six panels, separated by a blue ground diaper work; the domed cover with a band of scroll work and ruyi-heads and surmounted by a ball knop painted with a daisy blossom; the high yoke handle decorated with stylised sprigs and flower heads, echoed on the spout.
