Each painted on the front and reverse with scenes of within quatrefoil panels revealing triangles of trellis diaperwork below and small petal-shaped panels of scroll devices above, the shoulder and upper body with leaf-and-scroll devices below and with trellis diaperwork in the interstices above, the neck encircled with precious objects repeated around the cover rim, and the covers large teardrop-shaped knop with a solid blue upper half above a ruyi-head border and around the ‘ankle’ a narrow dentil band.
